Personal profile

Mr. Bismark A. Bediako joined Leicester Castle Business School in September 2019 as a Part-time Lecturer in Accounting and Finance and subsequently appointed as a Full-time Lecturer in Accounting and Finance in January 2020.

Before joining De Montfort University, he was a Lecturer in Mathematics and Finance at Birmingham City University International College and had previously worked with the University of Wolverhampton Business School (Visiting Lecturer) and University of Leicester (Teaching Assistant). Mr. Bediako is currently a final year student of PhD in Finance from De Montfort University.

His research interests are in the area of foreign direct investment (FDI) inflows, financial sector development and political risk among developing countries. He has made significant progress in his PhD research project and is near completion.

He teaches undergraduate courses in Corporate finance, Business finance, International accounting and finance issues and Quantitative techniques. He is a teaching fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
