Personal profile

Adel Hatami-Marbini joined Leicester Castle Business School (LCBS) at De Montfort University as a Professor in Business and Management in 2017. His research revolves around performance measurement, operations and supply chain management and operational research.

He holds a BSC and an MSc in Industrial Engineering and received his PhD in Economics and Management Sciences from Louvain School of Management (LSM) of Université catholique de Louvain, Belgium. 

Adel also visited Aston Business School, Technical University of Ostrava, University of Seville, American University of Beirut and Virginia Tech.

He has published over 60 research papers in a variety of scholarly academic journals including European Journal of Operational Research (ABS List 4), Omega (ABS List 3), Expert Systems with Applications (ABS List 3) and Journal of the Operational Research Society (ABS List 3), among others and has regularly presented his work at various national and international conferences.
