Personal profile

I have taught general and academic English at all levels.  Classes taught include those for students preparing for undergraduate courses, students subsequently studying at undergraduate level, and those on a variety of postgraduate and military training programmes.  I also train teachers in the language teaching discipline, and am currently delivering input sessions on the MA in English Language Teaching.

My duties involve a number of subsidiary obligations such as designing modules for new courses, producing portfolios to attract students onto new courses and providing mentoring and pastoral care for language support students.  In addition, our M.A. for Englsih language teachers involves numerous duties including overseeing dissertations and assessing teaching practice for trainees.

Apart from teaching, I am a member of “Equity”, the actor’s union, and have performed poetry and comedy sketches on stage, radio and T.V.
