Grahame Hudson is an associate head, postgraduate programme leader and principal lecturer in the School of Design in the Faculty of Arts, Design and Humanities. He is the programme leader for the MA Design Entrepreneurship and is also a module leader on the MA Design Management and MA Design Innovation. His teaching areas include design management, enterprise, business planning, technology transfer and commercialisation.
Between 2001 and 2003 he was the Head of the Research Grants office and the DMU Russian PhD research programme. Between 1997 and 2001, he was a project manager and programme director at the Defence Evaluation and Research Agency. He served as an officer in the Royal Navy between 1986 and 1996 qualifying as a Russian interpreter and working in Central and Eastern Europe as a humanitarian aid monitor and UK arms control inspector.
He has a BA in African and Asian History from the University of Sydney and an MA in Diplomatic Studies from the University of Leicester. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists and has a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language.
