From 5-7 April we are hosting our first ever Homecoming event and we’re inviting all of our alumni to join us on campus for an action packed weekend of activities. This promises to be a nostalgic, fun and celebratory weekend for our alumni to reconnect with DMU as well as former friends and teachers.
On this page you can register your attendance, find out what’s happening over the weekend, watch alumni videos and read a collection of DMU alumni news stories that share a variety of inspirational career journeys.

The Heritage Centre and Stephen Lawrence Research Centre will also be open to returning graduates. This will be followed by society and sport club activities and games organised and led by current student groups.
To conclude the day there will be an evening reception with a live band held at the Students' Union.
On Sunday 7 April, there will be an alumni breakfast at The Gallery. It will be a chance for us to reminisce about the weekends highlights, and a chance for you to have an input into what you want Homecoming 2020 to look like.

Last year, we launched our new alumni proposition, #DMUforlife, to signal a step change in our offer to, and engagement with, all of our graduates. All alumni can get ongoing access to our careers service via DMUworks, library resources, discounts on further study, networking events, international clubs and opportunities to go on #DMUglobal trips. Homecoming is a key part of our new offering to encourage all of our alumni to stay connected to DMU.
Journey to Homecoming
To help build excitement and preview this inaugural event we'll be following three of our alumni over the next two months as they gear up for Homecoming. They'll be sharing their personal stories and memories of DMU, what they've been up to since graduating and what they're most looking forward to by returning to campus.
