Partner colleges
The university has made collaborative arrangements with a number of colleges and institutions across the UK. The ‘collaborative arrangements’ are where courses are delivered in part, or whole, at the partner college or higher education institution.
The programme has been established for more than 20 years, with 1,600 students registered, demonstrating that the network is a mature, well developed and significant body within DMU.
DMU and its partner colleges and institutions are highly experienced in delivering and supporting collaborative arrangements. On completion, the qualification obtained is a DMU Higher Education Award. See our partner colleges location map|.
At present we work with five main partner colleges and institutions:
Students studying on a course validated by DMU and delivered by a partner are enrolled at both university and the partner college or institution and are therefore able to take advantage of the facilities and resources of both institutions.
As a partnership network student or member of staff you have access to the DMU virtual learning environment, Blackboard|. Blackboard provides an online teaching and learning platform and includes a range of tools for the support and delivery of courses from DMU.
