Midwifery Theory and Practice

The module seeks to develop your insight and ability to respond in a proactive manner to the needs of women during childbearing. This is achieved through the analysis and application of individual and collective knowledge, values and beliefs that impact on the provision of midwifery care.

The module also aims to facilitate your individual, personal and professional growth and assist you to develop a greater woman focus to care and the ability to focus on salutogenesis within the birthing context
