Politics and International Relations at Work

Module description

This module aims to integrate the study of Politics with work experience in order to better qualify and prepare students for future employment. Students will work voluntarily with a Politics-related employer for 5 hours a week for a minimum of 5 weeks, reflecting on the ways in which their Politics is put to use. A journal will be kept of daily activities students will give a presentation outlining how they have and can use Politics within a particular career structure, based on their experience in the workplace. The presentation will describe and evaluate the work placement in relation to the particular use of Politics skills.
