Introduction to Accounting

Module description 

A general introduction to the basics of Financial Accounting and Management Accounting, designed for non-specialists, including: understanding, preparing and interpreting the three main financial statements; basic management accounting and its role in decision making; costing and analytical methods and the selection of the most appropriate method for application in a given situation; introductory investment appraisal; and analysing data in order to make management decisions within given scenarios.

  • Phase Test 2: 25%
