Module description

The module presents research in business and management as an activity that occurs within the context of limited resources and within a framework of ethical, legal and social constraints.

Attention is focused on the selection of appropriate topics for research, a range of research designs and data collection techniques, along with methods for the analysis of quantitative and qualitative data. Students will be introduced to qualitative and quantitative data analysis software. The module's overall ethos is to be applied, therefore epistemological and methodological issues covered will be examined with practical business research applications in mind.

  • Exam: 25%
