DMU students are celebrated for creativity. Our graduates include world-renowned architects, internationally famous fashion designers and landmark computer programmers. This competition is designed to encourage the next generation of DMU students to achieve great things for creative thinking. What are the Creative Thinking Awards? Sponsored by Toby Moores, visiting Fellow for DMU’s Institute of Creative Technologies, the Creative Thinking Awards recognise exceptional levels of creative, original and inventive thinking. What are the prizes?Any DMU student, undertaking a major project or dissertation and achieving grades of 70 percent or above could win:
Why should I enter?Aside from the generous prizes available, being able to think creatively is an essential skill in today’s graduate job market. This student competition is a catalyst for identifying new products and opportunities existing in the gaps between academia and industry. It will give your project focus and provide a good talking point for your CV, just look at last year’s winners to see why. The deadline for applications is 18 June 2010. How do I enter?
Who chooses the winner? A panel of senior academics, recognised leaders from creative industries and Creative Thinking Awards founder Toby Moores will choose the winners. The prize winners will be announced at the 2010 Graduation Ceremonies, 19 to 23 July 2010. |
