GUIDANCE NOTES ON THE COMPLETION OF THE APPLICATION FORM FOR TAUGHT MASTER'S COURSES

BEFORE YOU APPLY

Applying to a Postgraduate Course
Before you complete the online application form or download and print the PDF format application form, you must read the following instructions carefully.

Incomplete forms or forms containing insufficient information cannot be processed. We will be in touch to request any outstanding information before an application can be considered. Therefore we recommend that you do not submit your application until you have all the necessary information available.

You can apply using our online form or by downloading, printing and posting/faxing our PDF form. If you apply online, you will still have to fax, email or post copies of your qualification transcripts, references and evidence of English language ability. We will not be able to process your application until we have all this information.

Links to the online and PDF forms are at the bottom of this page.

References
You will also need two copies of the reference form (PC968) so that you can provide DMU with two references. Use the link at the bottom of this page to download the forms. Your references must include at least one academic reference.

Choosing your Course
You should also find out as much as you can about the course that you want to study before making your application. Make sure you are aware of the course’s content and entry requirements. You can find out all about each course in the printed Postgraduate Prospectus or on the course pages of this website.

NOTE: Please DO NOT use the H953 form for applying for any research course, any PGCE course, the Legal Practice Course or the Postgraduate Diploma in Law. If you wish to apply to the law courses, follow the link below to the LCAB website which will allow access to specific law versions of the H953

Research Degrees
Research degree application forms are available from the Research Degrees webpages.
