De Montfort University Leicester (DMU) has been listed among the top 200 universities in the world for Computer Science in rankings released this week.
The latest Shanghai Global Ranking of Academic Subjects, which covers 52 academic subjects across the areas of Natural Sciences, Engineering, Medical Sciences and Social Sciences, places the university in the 151-200 category for this subject.
It lists 500 universities around the world and has published its rankings annually since 2007. DMU is 16th out of the 33 UK universities ranked for computer science.
The Shanghai Rankings use research productivity, quality and impact, international collaboration, global influence and academic awards to compile the rankings.
