Government Support for Innovation|

Taking place at the newly refurbished Alive Church |in Grantham Town Centre on the 23rd September 2014 as part of the Gravity Fields Festival|, the Government Support for Innovation 2014 is a unique event which is aimed at local and regional SMEs and local government to come together and gain an insight into the Governmental support that is available, focused around business support, innovation platforms and transport challenges.

THE ISSUE Conference 2014|

THE ISSUE Conference 2014 will bring together representatives from some of the region's most innovative technology-based companies with local and regional authority policy makers and international researchers. This FREE two day conference will explore how, through more cross-sectoral collaborative working, new technologies and innovations could be used in transport to ease urban traffic congestion, help reduce carbon emissions, make transport more efficient and improve the impact of transport on the local economy, air quality and public health.

THE ISSUE 2013|

THE ISSUE project with Leicester City Council, De Montfort University, the University of Leicester and Nottingham University will be holding a FREE workshop on December 10th 2013 at Leicester’s Dock – Leicester’s new hub for high tech and innovation businesses - focusing on the funding opportunities under Horizon 2020. We will take a particular look at opportunities in Smart, Green and Integrated Transport, Energy Challenges, Air Quality and Economic Growth.

Getting About in Leicester|

This seminar, which was lead by Dr Eric Goodyer from DMU's DIGITS research group, brought people together to discuss key challenges facing our towns and cities. with a panel of experts a number of key issues were discussed.
