Pressure sensing

Changes in pressure affect the performance of products and materials. Using our highly sensitive pressure sensing probe we can measure tiny changes over millisecond timescales. Suitable for use within a wide spectrum of industry sectors, our equipment is a vital product development tool.

We work with companies on a consultancy basis, using our specialised portable fibre-optic probe to take measurements on or off site. Applications are diverse, from examining machines with pressure crisis to designing dispensing systems for foods and skincare.

Within healthcare and veterinary science, the technology can be used to take incredibly precise measurements, including examining pressure changes in the heart or bladder of tiny animals, enabling new breakthroughs in drugs and treatment techniques.
