Professor Zhilong Tian

Prof. Zhilong Tian is a Professor of Marketing and Strategic Management, Head of Department of Management, School of Management, Huazhong University of Science and Technology. He currently sits at the National Teaching Committee of High Education in Business Administration, Ministry of Education of China.

Gaining degrees specialized in business administration and management from both China and Canada, Professor Tian has lectured at HUST over 20 years and has led 6 research projects sponsored by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) covering the area of corporate governance, internationalization, business and government relationship and corporate social responsibility, and he studied the bicultural working teams of Chinese firms operating in India for 6 months.

This research was sponsored by the Ford Foundation in 2007 in order to understand how these companies operated strategically regarding management, administration and communication models. His research findings have been published in the international journals, such as Long Range Planning,

Journal of Business Ethics, Management and Organizational Review, Business and Society, and in the top Chinese academic journals in the Management area, such as Management World, Nankai Management Review. A?more detailed CV with his publications can be provided if requested.
