CCHR Associate Lecturer

Rob Brown

Rob has worked for over ten years as a Tutor, author and Internal Verifier for the Chartered Institute of Housing. He was formerly a part-time Senior Lecturer in Housing and Public Law at Middlesex University, until 2015.

Rob has a Law Degree from Wolverhampton University and an MSocSc from Birmingham University. He obtained his Housing Diploma in 1981 and his teaching certificate in 2002.

Before moving into housing education, Rob worked in local authorities and housing associations in the fields of homelessness, allocations and housing advice, housing strategy, enabling and tenant participation.

Rob was a Board Member at Cottsway Housing Association until 2013.

Rob is a life-long supporter of Aston Villa and regularly watches them with his two sons.  Rob lives with his daughter in Oxfordshire.
