CCHR Associate Lecturer

Martin Haddelsey

Martin was educated at the University of Central Lancashire, Preston, between 1992-1995, achieving a first-class honours degree in English Literature with Politics.  After a few years working in advice services for young people in Nottingham, then working in the Czech Republic as a TEFL teacher, he entered the housing world in 2000, as a lettings officer.  Martin later became a housing officer, a role he held for 5 years, until 2007.  In October of that year, Martin started work for Central College as a lecturer in housing, delivering Level 2 and 3 CIH certificates in housing.  In 2013, he became a Learning & Development Officer with the CIH, editing and writing online materials for a range of courses from Level 4 upwards.  Martin also deliver some in-house sessions at Levels 3 & 4.  In terms of interests, Martin loves reading - contemporary literature and history, for the most part.  He also enjoys film, walking, swimming, and convivial gatherings in hostelries…
