Contemporary photographic practice: Portraiture; Documentary practice; Mythology; Anthropology; Marginalised groups.

Lala Meredith Vula (Reader)
Contemporary photography; Video; Film; Fine art; Contemporary Visual art; Photography and film history; Fine art and photography practice; Focusing particularly themes of migration, diaspora, identity and belonging; Art in Eastern Europe both contemporary and historic.

Susan Ansell
Poetic Film; Avant-garde film; Film practices; Women in film; Film/art installation; Video art; Still and moving image research group.

Dr Mike Simmons
The significance of photographic image making in the representation of personal experiences. The relevance, effectiveness and diversity of creative photographic practice as a research strategy. How knowledge, understanding and awareness can be communicated through the relationship between photographic representation and audiences.

Neil Dyson
Contemporary photography, theory and practice.

Dave Soden
How still & moving image, live music performance, song composition, recorded sound design and interactive installation, can be incorporated into a process of investigation leading to new insights.
