For bookings please call the Phoenix Square Box Office on 0116 242 2800 The conference, hosted by the Cinema and Television History (CATH) Research Centre in DMU’s Faculty of Humanities, will celebrate a century of cinema exhibition since the Cinematograph Act 1909, which was the first major legislation relating to moving pictures, came into force on 1 January 1910.
