Graduate School Office

The Graduate School Office is part of the Directorate of Student and Academic Services and aims to support postgraduate research students and staff.

We offer efficient, student-centred administrative assistance and a comprehensive Researcher Development Programme that encourages research students to achieve their maximum research potential and develop transferable skills to complement their career beyond their time at university. 

As research students progress through the student journey, there are various ‘checkpoints’ along the way that chart academic progress. The Code of Practice for Research Degree students has been developed to help research students navigate their way through the regulations and procedures from admission, registration and submission of thesis through to the viva voce examination.

The Graduate School Office team is here to guide you through these processes and ensure you stay on track.
