Researcher Development Programme

The Graduate School Office coordinates a comprehensive programme of training opportunities for our doctoral researchers, both generic and Faculty-specific.   Our schedule enables students to develop the skills required to successfully complete your research degree and enhance employability. Our programme offers a diverse range of opportunities which align with the progression of your research, from ‘Planning and Managing Research’ and developing your writing skills through to preparing for your viva voce examination.

In addition we host an annual poster competition for our research students to present their research to a non-academic audience, a superb opportunity to showcase your work and fine-tune your presentation skills!

You will find the current course schedule and Research Student Handbooks on these pages.
