At DMU, we collaborate with businesses, community partners, third sector organisations, Government and learners to share our knowledge, expertise, skills, technologies and facilities to make a positive difference.

It’s a fundamental part of who we are as a civic university, with our roots firmly embedded in the city of Leicester and the region.

The KTP programme part-funds collaborations between a growth-oriented UK business and university; employing a recent graduate to work on an innovative R&D project to transfer and embed university expertise to deliver commercial business impact. These dynamic R&D partnerships are funded by UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) via Innovate UK.
