Entry requirements

These are the entry requirements for full-time undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

Entry requirements for Pakistani students
 Academic qualifications English Language
Foundation / International Year Zero

Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) with 50% or above

 

For art and design courses, a portfolio of work must be submitted

International Year Zero: Minimum IELTS 4.5 with pre-sessional English

  

DMU foundation courses: IELTS 6.0

Undergraduate

A-levels or recognised foundation course

 

Credit transfer to year 2 or 3 is possible, subject to syllabus match.

 

Some courses have additional entry criteria such as a portfolio, an audition, or require a student to have studied a particular A-level.

IELTS 6.0 for Art, Design, Engineering and Computing subjects

 

IELTS 6.5 for Pharmacy, Business, Law, Social Sciences, Sciences and Humanities subjects

 

IELTS 7.5 for Speech and Language Therapy

 

Postgraduate

Four-year bachelor's degree (BSc or BEng) from a recognised and good university with 55% or equivalent GPA

 

Four-year bachelor's degree (BA or BBA) from a recognised and good university with 65% or equivalent GPA

 

Students with a three-year degree may be able to complete a six-month pre-master’s before progressing to postgraduate study.

 

Some courses have additional entry criteria such as a portfolio, work experience or require you to have a degree in a related field.

IELTS 6.0 for Art, Design, Engineering and Computing subjects

 

IELTS 6.5 for Business, Law, Social Sciences, Sciences and Humanities subjects

 

IELTS 7.0 for GDL
