Audiology Experience Day
Wednesday 13 December 2017
09:30am - 3:00pm
Join us on campus to learn more about the role of an Audiologist.
NEW for 2018 - De Montfort University is pleased to be able to offer a degree in Healthcare Science (Audiology) BSc and are offering prospective students the opportunity to come and take part in an experience day that will inform them more about this exciting profession.
Our dedicated teaching and support staff have put together a programme of activities that blends both hands-on learning alongside advice and guidance on everything from course content, to entry criteria, to UCAS personal statement support. On the day students can expect to explore the role of an Audiologist in greater detail. You will have the opportunity to observe a video otoscopy showing inside the human ear and learn more about the ear's functions. You can then become hands on with our training heads and observe for yourself the common and less common pathologies of the ear canal and ear drum.
Working alongside our academics you will be given an ideal opportunity to experience first hand teaching and learning that informs our Audiology degree. This will be the ideal platform to ask questions on key areas such as entry criteria, course placements and academic learning. Current students will also be on hand to talk to you about life as a university student and help answer your questions on finance, accommodation, study skills plus much more
There are no costs involved in attending the experience day and booking a place couldn't be easier. Simply click on the link below and complete your details and a member of the team will be in touch to confirm your place. Places are limited and will be offered on a first come, first served basis.
