Collaborative research

De Montfort University engages in collaborative research with industry partners funded by a variety of sources.

One of the most successful is Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTP), a programme funded by the Technology Strategy Board that enables organisations to improve their competitiveness, productivity and performance. KTP achieves this by helping organisations to access knowledge, technology or skills from the UK’s knowledge base, which includes Universities such as De Montfort.

Consultancy services

Our consultancy services allows your business access to internationally recognised research expertise in areas where you may have little or no resource. The University has a track record of delivering to your specification, on time and within budget, and is flexible and responsive to your business needs.

Training

Training is offered in technology based disciplines where we have strong teaching capabilities. We offer a development needs analysis service to determine the training needs within your organisation and can develop strategic or operational level courses to meet those needs. This includes integration with other disciplines such as business and management, and accredited programmes of study. Delivery can be tailored to suit individual clients.
