National Student Survey

The survey is conducted throughout all publicly funded higher education institutions across UK and has been running since 2005. This year saw the best results so far for DMU and also the faculty of technology. The results show us that the student experience has improved within the faculty and we are more able to meet and exceed the needs of our students.

In the most recent National Student survey, students on Computer Science related subjects gave the University excellent feedback regarding confidence in tackling unfamiliar situations and communication skills. Only 2 institutions out of 100 achieved higher scores than DMU in the survey section regarding personal development.

In response to the question on overall satisfaction across Computer Science subjects, only 9 institutions out of over 100 had a higher mean score than DMU, placing the University in the top ten.

With a strong focus on improvement, the faculty and the university as a whole intend to further improve all areas of the student experience
