For Undergraduate Study:

HSC – Students with good grades in the HSC would generally be considered for entry to one of our foundation (year zero) programmes.

Students with a GPA of 4.5 - 5 may apply to be considered for entry to undergraduate degree courses.

Polytechnic Diploma – Students with a grade of 70% or above may be considered for undergraduate degree courses.

2 & 3 Year Bachelor degree – Students with good grades may be considered for undergraduate degree courses

For postgradaute Study:

Bachelor degree (four years in duration) from BUET - at least 55% overall

Pass Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examination (CAPE) in six CAPE units including two double-unit awards at grade 2.

A Levels – BBC-BBB for an undergraduate degree programme

Baccalauréat – students with high grades may be considered for entry to an undergraduate degree programme, however, generally students would be required to study one of our foundation (year zero) courses.

For Postgraduate Taught Study:

Licence / Bachelor degree with a grade of at least 12-13.

Senior Secondary School Certificate - students with a good score would generally be considered for a foundation (year zero) course.

Chinese University/College Entrance Examination – students with a good score would generally be considered for a foundation (year zero) course.

Chinese university degree – students that have successfully completed the first year of a Chinese university degree will considered for direct entry to Bachelor Degree courses.

Students with SQA HND qualification in a relevant subject may be considered for advanced entry onto an Undergraduate programme. Please contact Technology Admissions for more information.

For Postgraduate Taught Study:

Bachelor Degree with an overall grade of 75%

KCSE - Students with an average grade of B and above, across 5 subjects may be considered for entry to an undergraduate degree. Students may also need to have a grade of at least B in Maths and/or Science in some cases

Students must also have a grade of C or better in KCSE English.

Bachelor Degree - at least Second Class Honours (lower division)

Bachelor degree (from a Public or Private University) with with good/very good grades will be considered for entry to a Postgraduate Taught course.

For Undergraduate Study:

Baccalauréat – Students with at least 12-13 point average may be considered for entry to an undergraduate degree, students may be required to have achieved a score of at least 12 in Maths and/or Physics, in some cases.

For Postgraduate Taught Study:

Diplôme d'Ingénieur, Licence, Diplôme from an Ecole Superieure de Commerce/Gestion/Politique or Maîtrise with an overall grade of assez bien will be considered for entry to a Postgraduate Taught programme.

Abitur - Overall grade of 1.0-2.9. students may be required to have achieved a score of at least 10-12 in specified subjects

West African Higher School Certificate / GCE A-Levels – Students with good grades (e.g. 3 B’s at A-Level) may be considered for entry to an undergraduate degree.

Bachelor degree at 2.2 grade

Sarjana (S1) accredited with either A, B or C. A equivalent to Dip HE, B equiv to Bachelor Degree (Ordinary), C equiv to Bachelor (Honours).

High School Diploma (3 years) with Pre-University Certificate (Peeshdaneshgahe) since 1992 – students with an overall grade of 13-14 may be considered for undergraduate entry. Without the pre-University certificate, applicants with very good grades may be considered for entry to a year zero foundation programme.

Associate Degree – a minimum overall grade of 13-14

Honours Bachelor degree – Usually an overall classification of Second Class Lower is required
