MA Television Scriptwriting

The long established and unique MA in Television Scriptwriting at De Montfort University concentrates on the craft of writing for television and prepares students for the competitive and demanding world of professional writing.

Reasons why you should study the MA Television Scriptwriting at DMU:

  • Industry contacts – the MA has a regular programme of guest lecturers from the industry including high-profile writers, producers, script editors and agents such as Tony Jordan (Eastenders), Barbara Machin (Waking the Dead) and Tony McHale (Holby City).

  • Develop skills – students take part in a series of one day workshops and all receive a professional script report on one of their scripts.
