Cultural eXchangesCultural eXchanges
Our Cultural eXchanges festival is fast becoming a nationally recognised event and attracts an enviable list of guest speakers, artists and performers. Organised and run by our Arts Management students each year, this week long event is now in its eighth year. The majority of the events are free and are open to everyone especially our staff and students. 'Contemporary culture' It provides a great opportunity for the Faculty to demonstrate the nature of its interests in contemporary culture and to open its doors to everyone in the region. Previous guests have included: "Cultural eXchanges was organised in a way that puts other events to shame" Andrew Motion – Poet Laureate ""I was very well looked-after by the students – it was a terrific experience" Sir Christopher Frayling – Chair of Arts Council England ""I really enjoyed it. It was very well organised and attended" Matthew Bourne – Choreographer
and many more. For more information see the Cultural eXchanges website. |
