![]() Leicester School of PharmacyPharmaceutical Quality by DesignReduced time to market and improved resource efficiency are key to reduced life cycle costs and increased international competitiveness for the development and manufacture of modern medicines and healthcare products. Quality by Design (QbD) is a scientific, risk-based approach, critical to delivering these benefits. The principles of QbD are defined in the new pharmaceutical regulatory framework for quality, namely ICH Q8, Q9 and Q10, plus the European Medicines Agency (EMEA) policy on integrated quality management system, specifically ICS No.10. It is vital that healthcare companies are cognisant and compliant with this new approach to quality and are able to maintain international competitiveness. De Montfort University’s (DMU) Pharmaceutical Technologies Group, in close collaboration with leading UK and international industrialists, is supporting the industry’s new approach to quality with a launch of this new work-based learning programme. The course provides cutting-edge training for scientists, engineers, technologists and technically-based professionals within new and established businesses within the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry supply chains. It is made up of a flexible combination of modules, all of which are delivered at postgraduate level. Course dates For more information about this course: |
