Nurses are in a unique position within the health care provision, and can work in a wide variety of settings. It involves caring for individuals, families and communities in order to maintain levels of good health. It can be a demanding career, but can also be incredibly fulfilling and rewarding, and it can provide you with a choice of career pathways which can change over the years.

We have an excellent reputation in offering first-class training within our nursing courses.  We believe that our courses will be the start of a lifelong learning process, and we strive to offer programmes that will develop you into a confident and competent practitioner.

Diploma of Higher Education Nursing with NMC registration

Advanced Diploma of Higher Education Nursing with NMC registration
specialising in adult, child, learning disability and mental health nursing

BSc (Hons) Nursing with NMC registration
specialising in adult, child and mental health nursing

Nursing is moving to an all graduate profession, so the last time we will be recruiting to all four branches of nursing is Sept 2011. There might be a limited number of places for adult and mental health in January 2012, and candidates should view the website before making an application.

Life as a student nurse

Your programme of learning will comprise of theory, placement and reading weeks. Each component and module will make different demands on your time as a student.  But there is more to life as a student nurse.
