If you have an enquiring mind and are concerned about the health and welfare of others we offer you an exciting opportunity to realise your potential by following one of the courses offered by our Faculty of Health and Life Sciences.

We offer a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in our four Schools: Allied Health Sciences; Applied Social Sciences; Nursing and Midwifery and Pharmacy pharmaceutical sciences, Forensic science, Healthcare Sciences, Speech and language therapy. Many degree courses are accredited by professional bodies and allow graduates to continue their study on relevant postgraduate programmes and continuing professional development courses. We are also very pleased to offer NHS-funded places on certain degrees such as the BSc Nursing programmes.

Our graduates have progressed to fulfilling careers in a wide range of scientific, health care and social work professions. Further study to Masters or PhD level is another option taken by many of our recent graduates.

We have a track record of excellence in teaching and research in many of these areas. All of them are supported by a range of facilities including laboratories, computer centres, as well as specialised learning resources and equipment. We pride ourselves on the level of academic support and pastoral care that ultimately helps students to 'feel at home' and perform to the best of their ability.
