Common difficulties

Many students, for very understandable reasons, continue to experience emotional distress because they lack any clear information that can explain what they might be going through. Consequently, we commonly see students who are at a loss as what to do about their situation.

We have collected information about a number of the more common issues students are faced with to help you make sense of your situation and to help you decide what to do next.

Please note that for some categories you will be directed to external websites and that DMU is not responsible for their content. For further information and support please contact us|.
