Springboard: Employability Workshops
Springboard is a series of workshops with a focus on a broad aspect of employability skills. The programme of workshops have been developed with teams from across the university in consultation with current students.
The programme is open to all DMU students, you can attend as many or as few as you like; however, for those who attend two or more workshops - you will receive an invitation later in the year to attend a Team Building event at Leicester Outdoor Pursuit Centre.
For a full programme of the workshops on offer (confirmed and planned) please see below.
Team Building Event at Leicester Outdoor Pursuit
Those students who attend two or more of the workshops may be invited to an outdoor pursuits event at the Leicester Outdoor Pursuit centre. We are planning for this activity to take place in late April/May.
Working as team and understanding team dynamics is a key skill to have when looking for graduate level jobs. This afternoon of hands on activities aims to encourage groups to communicate better, co-operate with each other, trust and support each other. All significant factors in effective teamwork.
