To help you get ready, we have put together this quick introduction and a handy set of frequently asked questions to make your first few days and weeks at university as easy as possible.
The first things you need to do are registration (sometimes called enrolment) and induction.
You may be asked to complete parts of this process online before you arrive at the university (we call these online registration and e‑Induction).
These are followed when you arrive with a registration day and your in-person induction.
Here are the four main steps:
- Register online (except Arts, Design and Humanities courses)
- Complete our e-Induction online
- Register in person to confirm your ID/qualifications, give us your financial paperwork and pick up your student ID card
- Go to all of the sessions on the induction timetable that we’ll give to you
If you are studying at a partner institution you will be contacted by them about your induction and ID card.
