Brexit is the most important political development in the UK for a generation and is set to impact on all our lives. It will also have a major impact on universities, with implications for student and staff recruitment, international study, research collaboration and much more.
Sir Keir Starmer KCB QC, Labour Member of Parliament and Shadow Secretary of State for Exiting the European Union, will be visiting DMU today (Thursday 8 March) and has agreed to hold a staff and student Q&A session on Brexit and a wide range of other political themes. This will be chaired by our Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dominic Shellard.
The event takes place on from 6–7pm in the Queens Building, Room 1.10.
