Have you ever wondered what your tuition fees pay for at DMU? Or would you like to know more about how the university invests your money to provide a great student experience? If so, we’re giving you the chance to attend an exclusive screening of a new video called ‘Your fees, your experience’ created in collaboration with De Montfort Students’ Union (DSU) on Monday 12 March.
That’s not all, the event will be hosted by our Vice-Chancellor Professor Dominic Shellard and Chief Operating Officer Ben Browne who will be holding a Q&A following the screening to answer your questions and queries.
What is the video and why have we produced it?
Students have lobbied us directly through DSU to be transparent about how tuition money is spent at DMU and how it shapes the overall student experience. Value for money is something students, families and other stakeholders are rightly interested in given the current level of tuition fees across the higher education sector. To demonstrate our commitment to always respond to and act on student feedback, the video and Q&A will give a breakdown of how tuition fees are spent at DMU and shine a light on the wider support services available.
