Join the Archbishop's Big Conversation at DMU

Justin Welby, the Archbishop of Canterbury, is to give a special talk at De Montfort University (Leicester) as part of a three-day visit to Leicester.

Students and staff from DMU, the University of Leicester and Loughborough University are invited to attend the Archbishop’s Big Conversation on Thursday 16 November at TheVenue@DMU from noon to 1.30pm.

This event is a rare opportunity to hear the Most Revd and Rt Hon Justin Welby, Archbishop of Canterbury, talk first-hand about his faith and to answer questions from the audience.

The lecture and Q&A will be introduced and chaired by DMU’s Pro Chancellor, Professor David Wilson. Students and staff can submit questions to the Archbishop during the lecture via text message.

Free lunchtime food will be provided. The Chaplaincy from each university will have a stand to provide information to staff and students.

The Big Conversation coincides with national Inter Faith Week. It is free to attend but please book your place onthe Eventbrite page here (the deadline to register has now been extended to Tuesday 14 November).
