The results of the 2017 Energy Barometer survey will be presented in a special event at DMU on Tuesday 10 October.
Hosted by DMU’s School for Engineering and Sustainable Development, this presentation is a chance to hear the latest expert views about UK energy issues.
The Energy Barometer is an ongoing initiative produced by the Energy Institute, a membership body that supports people working in and studying energy. The report captures insights from UK energy professionals and enables them to inform the energy debate, policymakers, the industry and the public.
This year’s survey covers views on Brexit impacts and negotiation priorities, UK policy and energy investment, the low-carbon transition, and energy in society.
The results will be presented by Louise Kingham OBE FEI, Chief Executive at the Energy Institute. Her presentation will be followed by a Q&A.
Open to staff, students and the general public, the event takes place on Tuesday 10 October from 6.30-8pm in the Hugh Aston Building, room 2.06. Refreshments before the talk will be available in room 2.08.
