A new PhD research project based around Black History Month (BHM) is being developed by the Midlands 3 Cities Doctoral Training Partnership and Serendipity – the organisers of Leicester’s BHM programme.
BHM is an annual observance to highlight and celebrate the achievements and contributions of black people in the UK. This PhD project is a great opportunity to receive funding to carry out new research in the subject.
It is also in line with the principles behind DMU’s Freedom to Achieve programme, which seeks to provide support to BAME (Black, Asian and minority ethnic) students to help them realise their full potential.
For more information, contact email@example.com, phone (0116) 257 7316, or visit Serendipity Arts in room 00.14 in the Clephan Building at DMU.
If you’re interested, please go to the Midlands 3 Cities website and register. Students of African and African Caribbean origin are particularly encouraged to apply.
The deadline for applications is Monday 15 January 2018.
