As part of a series of ongoing events celebrating 40 years of the Kimberlin Library, DMU is hosting two author talks in the Hawthorn Building this December.
Paul Dowswell and Jane Adams, Royal Literary Fund Fellows in residence at DMU, will each give a special talk to the university.
Paul Dowswell: Blood, Sweat and Tears – where writers get their ideas
Monday 11 December at 2pm in Hawthorn 0.05
Paul will explain how photographs, paintings music and research trips can all inspire your writing. He will also talk about some of the things that have inspired his historical fiction.

Jane has been a professional writer for more than 20 years and has produced more than 30 published novels, mainly in the crime genre. She will talk about her writing and inspiration and the massive changes that are happening in the publishing world.
