DMU’s Graduate Champions Enterprise Scheme offers final year students who are studying an undergraduate degree the chance to take part in a paid 3-day start-up programme, which will provide essential information and inspiration in regards to kick-starting your journey into self-employment.
Whether you already have an idea or would just like to find out more about self-employment, the Graduate Champions Enterprise Scheme will provide you with all you need to know to help get your idea off the ground.
Is it for me?
Over the 3-day scheme, you will get a better understanding of the requirements of self-employment, which includes marketing, sales, finance and legal issues. You will also be inspired by those who have been there and done it, as guest speakers will provide an insight into their own start-up journeys.
The sessions will be interactive, so you will get the chance to use your creative skills which in turn will improve your confidence in regards to making that step into self-employment
The scheme will start on Monday 25 June and will run for 3 days until Wednesday 27 June. You will be contracted to attend the 3 day course.
Attendance will be required at all of the sessions to receive payment of £250*.
How do I apply?
To apply for a place on the scheme, you will need to complete a short application form.
Deadline for applications is Monday 4 June 2018.
