Internships are temporary positions with an emphasis on on-the-job training, they can be paid or unpaid. We deliver two internship schemes to DMU students and recent graduates, Frontrunners and Graduate Champions.
The schemes offer students and recent graduates the opportunity to gain quality work experience, enabling you to develop key skills that employers look for when recruiting graduates.
Current DMU students can apply for internships through the Frontrunners scheme and recent, eligible graduates can apply to our Graduate Champions Scheme.
The Frontrunners scheme offers you the opportunity to apply for paid internships working on real tasks, with current DMU employees.
Internships in the past have varied from administration roles and social media work to supporting the Vice-Chancellor's Office and project work within faculties and DMU's professional services departments, as well as some lab-based opportunites.
The Internships will be 6 months long for a maximum of 8 hours per week during term time and holiday periods and are paid at the current living wage of £8.75 per hour.
If you want more information regarding Frontrunners then please get in touch on email@example.com.
