All part-time and temporary roles at DMU are handled by Unitemps, a national franchise that allows you to recruit students into temporary and part-time roles.
The Unitemps scheme is a move away from external providers of temporary staff and casual contracts, and will save the university at least £100,000 per year. It will also provide a service to local businesses, placing students into relevant jobs, while enhancing the students' employability and allowing them to gain essential workplace experience.
Any profits made from the Unitemps scheme are directly reinvested into developing student employability and campus facilities.
Unitemps will advertise part-time opportunities.
How does it work?
Students will register online and will then be able to apply for jobs as they arise
Heads of departments will be asked to identify people who will become hiring managers, and be authorised to make a Unitemps booking. They will then be set up on the system by the Unitemps team.
The Unitemps Office opened in October 2012, and is now based on the first floor of the Campus Centre. Contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org
