Learning at Work Week
Look out for what’s coming in 2015.
Your brain is a muscle... Make sure you use it!
At DMU, learning is what we do. So, from the 19-23 May we are running Learning at Work Week, when we will lay on a range of fun free activities for all staff.
The week is a national celebration of the benefits of lifelong learning and a great opportunity to try something new.
There are many different types of learning. You could improve your job prospects, consider a new career, improve your physical and mental health, learn skills to support your family and the community or simply learn for fun.
The main point is to improve your experience at work. So whether you want to build a radio, learn about LEAN process improvement, take a Croquet Master Class, explore the DMU archive or help knit a blanket for charity with the DMU Knitting Club, you can get involved.
Learning at Work Week is run by POD and Unison Learning representatives who will be organising and running events throughout the week and includes an exhibition in the Campus Centre atrium on Wednesday 21 May from 12 to 2pm.
Please see the Learning at Work Week schedule| for further information.
