Immigration and Preventing Illegal Working Guidelines
The University has a comprehensive set of guideline for preventing illegal working. The guidelines help support, the university, line managers and Human Resources to understand their responsibilities and legal requirements that have to be adhered to in order to recruit and employ migrant workers. The guidelines are designed to support the University to recruit and retain the most talented staff without compromising the legislative requirements.
There is a requirement during the recruitment process to check documents to confirm that the prospective employee has the right to work in the UK.
