Get involved in DMU's TEDx event on campus in 2019

Imagine a day filled with brilliant speakers, thought-provoking video and mind-blowing conversation. DMU is hosting its own TEDx event on campus in 2019 – and we want to hear from students, alumni and staff who would like to get involved.

TEDx differs from the globally-screened TED talks in that its focus is on sharing and showcasing ideas, great projects and thought-provoking topics at a local level.

TEDx events are fully planned and co-ordinated independently, on a community-by-community basis. The content and design of each TEDx event is unique but all have features in common – the goal is to spark conversation, connection and community.

There will be many ways in which you can get involved in TEDxDeMontfortU, such as working behind the scenes on multimedia or operations, marketing and promoting and, of course, delivering a talk.

The event is being led by DMU’s enterprise hub at the Innovation Centre.

To find out more about how you can take part, please come to our informal briefing, which will take place on Monday 10 December, between 12.30-1.30pm in Edith Murphy 0.28 (the lower ground floor lecture theatre).

To register your attendance at this event, please email tedxdemontfortu@dmu.ac.uk no later than 1pm on Friday 7 December.
