De Montfort University’s (DMU) Innovation Centre is a vibrant, professional and sophisticated building buzzing with business activity.
Situated in Leicester’s city centre and adjacent to the Leicestershire Chamber of Commerce, the Innovation Centre offers ideal work, meeting and training room space for all your business needs whether you are an office based company or a creative.
We offer a range of different services including: full tenancy agreements for business start-ups, meeting and training room space for hire and a virtual tenancy package for those who want a more flexible workspace for their business.
About workspace
Workspace within the Innovation Centre is fully flexible, meaning our units can be used as offices or as creative spaces. It is available to lease by new businesses.
Office space
Our high quality office space includes desks, office chairs, filing cabinets and bookcases - and this can be tailored to your needs.
Our office space is air conditioned, has full disabled access and high speed broadband is included.
Free use of meeting and training room space
Many of our tenants take advantage of our meeting and training room space, which is included in our tenancy packages. We have rooms suitable for meetings of six to 24 people, with excellent AV facilities included.
Creative space
Our units are suitable for use as office or creative space.
We particularly encourage De Montfort University students who are skilled in fashion, textiles and other creative industries to begin their businesses here and as such a discount structure is in place for recent students and graduates.
Additionally we welcome creatives from outside of the university.
Welcoming environment
Our modern reception area gives your visitors a professional impression when they step through our doors, and our lounge gives you social space to relax or interact with others in a less formal setting.
Business support
We host business support surgeries and workshops which are free to attend.
