Accreditation or use of in-company training
Accreditation is a mechanism that provides external assurance of quality and standards, and aligns learning against well recognised benchmarks.
It recognises learning and development wherever and however it has occurred.
Working in partnership with your organisation, we can also work to identify how your in-company professional development programmes could be utilised alongside a university course.
You may have high quality and well developed internal training and development programmes, which meet specific and immediate requirements for your business needs. Accreditation of these will add real value, and enhance the return on your organisation’s investment in learning and development.
In addition to the accreditation of your in-house programmes, it may also be possible for individuals to have their prior learning accredited (APEL), in order to be awarded part-credit against an existing qualification.
This gives the individual exemption, or an advanced starting point in relation to a particular course or programme of study.
